MARSHALL, DOROTHY ALEXANDER HUFF - age 95 of Maryville, died Tuesday, January 9, 2001, at Asbury Acres Healthcare Center. She moved to Maryville from Jefferson City in 1914, she was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church, she was a teacher in Leadership Training Schools for volunteers and professionals in Children's Ministry from Fla. to Wis., and she also taught kindergarten for the Episcopal Church. Mrs. Marshall was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Garden Club, Chilhowee Club and was an accomplished artist and china painter and was on the National Rose Registry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Glenn Marshall. Survivors include; daughter and son in law, Virginia Marshall Ramsey and David Ramsey of Marietta, Ga.; grandchildren, Stephanie L. Ramsey of Decatur, Ga., Jennifer R. Biddy and husband, Jeff of Kennesaw, Ga., T. Marshall Ramsey and wife, Amy of Madison, Miss.; great grandchildren, Blake Biddy, Daniel Ramsey and Bryce Biddy; brother and sister in law, Lyle and Zola Huff of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sterling Turner and Rev. Darris Doyal officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The active pallbearers will be: Marshall Ramsey, Jeff Biddy, Olen Marshall, George Domonick, J.P. Stewart and David Ramsey. The honorary Pallbearers will be: Lyle Huff and members of the Goddard Sunday school class. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
