She is survived by her mother, Arrine Jane Cody of Newport, son; Joseph Carter of Newport, daughters; Brandy Carter of Strawberry Plains and Alicia Carter of Kodak, Tn, grandchildren; William Lee Hewell, II, Zane Mitchell Hewell, Marcus Layman, Deangello Layman and Olivia Cheyanne Layman, sisters; Linda Lane of Newport, brothers; Bobby Joe Cody, James Cody of Newport, David Wayne Parker of Sevierville, sister in laws; Carol Cody, Terri Parker, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, special friends Pete William Hodge, William Lee Hewell and Wayne Moulden of Strawberry Plains. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends 11:00 am till 1:00pm Wednesday prior to the service.
