Harmon, Phyllis Leann, of South Knoxville, passed away on Sunday March 18, 2007 at U.T. Hospital. She was born on May 20, 1932, and was a long time member of Meadow View Baptist Church on Island Home Pike and was a Graduate of Young High School. Preceded in death by: Timmy and Tammy Harmon, and parents W.C. Bill and Reba Brooks.
Survivors
Survived by: Husband Howard “Jess” F. Harmon; children: Darlene McGill of Knoxville, Connie Branch of Knoxville, Kathy Adams of Seymour, Debra Irwin of Seymour, Mike Harmon of Knoxville, Mark Harmon and wife Marie of Seymour; Bill and wife Dana Harmon of Athens, TN; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers: Billy A. Brooks and Buddy Brooks.
Service
The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 20th from 6-8 PM with funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Pastor David Watson of Meadow View Baptist Church officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lenoir City Cemetery on Wednesday, March 21st for 2 PM interment service. Serving as pallbearers will be: Matt Dosdall, Alan Perry, Bill Matthews, Robert Pate, Dave Billick, and Horace Kennedy.
