  [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 25 Jun 1999. RATHBONE, JOHN LEVI - age 71, of Maryville, passed away Thursday morning, June 24, 1999 at Bristol Nursing Home, Virginia. He was a Veteran of The U.S. Army, having served during The Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by parents, Andy and Mary Rudd Rathbone; brothers, Hodge, Sherrill, Harold, Clarence and Wiley Rathbone. Survivors: sister, Georgia Gray of Maryville; brothers, Clark Rathbone of Rockford and Robert Rathbone of Greenback; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 1999 at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Lester Allmon officiating. Family and friends will meet at Burns Cemetery in Townsend, immediately following the funeral service, for the interment service with Military Honors provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
