Ruby Inez Johnson McGill, age 76, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord June 26, 2014. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by husband Rev. Fred McGill, parents John and Irene Givens, brothers Roy, Ray, Bud, Ellis, and Johnny, sister Sue Munsey, granddaughter Tosha Nicole Johnson, step-son Freddie McGill, and step-daughter Patty Davis. Survivors include children and spouses Sharon and RT Cox, Darryl and Nicki Johnson, Carol and Stephen Ashman, Douglas and Sherry Johnson, Ted Johnson, Jr., John and Kelly Johnson, Kenny and Denise Johnson, and Paula and Victor Murphy, step-son Rev. Charlie McGill, Sr. and family, 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, sister Bobbie Moore, special cousin Imogene Wells, sister-in-law Polly Givens and family, as well as several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Brandy Underwood, Glenda Cagle, Ruth Britner, Pam Johnson, and UT Hospice for their loving care. Funeral service will be 5 PM Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Rev. Charlie McGill, Rev. Louis Branch, Rev. Clyde Haynes, and Rev. Ronnie Beeler officiating. The family will receive friends 3-5 PM Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
