MONTGOMERY , MARGARET L. - age 78 of Rockford died Friday, June 9, 2000 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Knoxville. Preceded in death by parents, Huse McGill and Tishie McGill ; brother, George McGill . Survivors include, husband, Luther Montgomery ; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Johnny Phillips; sons and daughters-in-law, Glen and Glenda Montgomery , Calvin and Maxine Montgomery , Jim and Carolyn Montgomery ; grandsons, Mark Philips, Kevin Montgomery , Michael Montgomery ; grand-daughters, Kristin Hodge, Kelly Thompson, Gail Russell; brother, Charles McGill ; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Ruby McGill , Clarence and Phyllis McGill ; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gertie and Don Price, Nellie and Ray Haire; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 10, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Bob Warren officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2000at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment. Family will receive friends form 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2000 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
