Preceded in death by parents, Jessie and Ida Rose; daughter, Shirley Rose McClanahan; sisters, Mary Russell & Edith Chapman; brothers, Jessie Rose Jr., Charlie Rose, Otis Rose, Henry Rose, Clyde Rose & Bill Rose; grandson, Randy Mead. Survivors: daughter, Rosetta Swafford Scarbrough of Rockford; son, Charles A. Murrell of Rockford; grandchildren, Mr. & Mrs. James (Kim Murrell) Tipton of Friendsville, Kenny Murrell & Buffy Swafford both of Rockford; great grandchildren, Tiffany Presley McBee of Maryville, Randy Swafford of Rockford, Danielle Partain of Durham, NC. Two great-great grandchildren of Durham, NC and newly born great-great grandson, Jonathon Michael McBee of Maryville; sister and brother in law, Mr. & Mrs. Alvin (Georgie) Costner of Maryville; many nieces & nephews.
