ROSE, JESSIE, JR. - age 68, of Maryville, passed away Sunday morning, April 18, 1999, at Home Away From Home. Retired from Harrison Construction Company. He sold walking sticks in Townsend. Married for 39 years to the late Frances Jean Hammontree Rose, who passed away in November 1994. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Robbin Rose, Maryville; daughter, Kim Robinson, Maryville; grandchildren, Chelsea and Scarlett Rose, Aresha "Pooh-bear" Robinson; sister and brother-in-law, Georgie and Alvin Costner, Maryville; sister, Ocie Murrell, Rockford; brothers-in-law, Clyde Chapman, George Russell, both of Maryville, Benny McLemore, Loudon; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Hazel Brown, Ruth and Ray Marshall, all of Maryville; sisters-in-law, Bessie Rose, Chickamauga, Ga., Ollie Rose, Greenback; 35 nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8 p.m. Monday, April 19, 1999, Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Harold Queen, Rev. Alvin Patton officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 a.m. Tuesday at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
