Earl Lee Riden, 69, of Greenville, S.C., formerly of Greenback, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011, at St. Frances Hospital in Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulis and Martha Rogers Riden; son, Timothy Riden. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Faye Riden; son and daughter-in-law, David and Gale Riden; daughters, Lisa Riden, Vickie Scott; grandchildren, Jennifer Ballard, Brian Ballard, Blanche Boyer, Kenneth Boyer, Mathew Riden, Marsha Riden, Leann Hatfield, Cindy Smith, Justin Riden; great-grandchildren, Courtney Marsh, Danni Ballard, Stephen Boyer, Ashley Boyer, Luke Hatfield, Natlie Wilkins; sisters, Evelyn Cable, Patsy Hall, Peggy Thompson, Glenda Ogla, Pam Sutton, Pearlie Kirkland, Sylvia Patterson; brothers, Burl Riden, Fred Riden, Chuck Riden. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matthew Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Clarks Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
