Virginia (Miss Ginnie) Lowe age 91, of Concord passed away Friday evening, March 16, 2007 at Park West Medical Center. Virginia was a member of First Baptist Church Concord for 55 years and taught Sunday school children for over 30 years. When she gave up her car, she began a telephone ministry with the church. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Maude Sarver; husband, Joe Lowe; sister, Wilma Gibson; brother, Fred Sarver Jr.; nephews, Don Sarver and Gene Gibson. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Jo Ann Lowe of Seymour; grandson, Brent Lowe and wife Ashley of Seymour; great grandchildren, Emma Kate and Jackson Lowe; special nephews and niece, Fred Sarver, Rodney Sarver andYnema Biesecker; special friends, Eula Colman, Mary Wilson, Lyndia Foster and Dorothy Bradley. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church Concord with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Steve Peek officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for graveside services. Pall bearers: Fred Sarver, Rodney Sarver, Ted Biesecker, Jim Wilson, David Foster, George Justice, Brian Cross and Buddy Bradley. Honorary pall bearers will be members of the Handy Man Ministry of First Baptist Church Concord. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Handy Man Ministry or Homebound Ministry of First Baptist Church Concord, 11704 Kingston Pike, Farragut, TN 37934.
