Heaton, Jessie Dodd age 91 of Maryville passed away Saturday August 7, 2010 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center.
She loved to make quilts and be around her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Levi and Vesta Dodd, husband Clyde Heaton, brother Oscar Dodd, sisters Elizabeth Carpenter, Edith Potter and Johnnie Brannon.
She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Coy and Pat Heaton, Troy and Carolyn Heaton and daughter and son in law Dottie and Bob Kidd, sisters Mae Garrett, Esther Burns, Nancy Wilburn and Evelyn Lawson, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Thank you to everyone at Colonial Hills for their care and thoughtfulness. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to your favorite charity.
Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Don Bradley officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Dottie Kidd, 1733 St. Ives Blvd. Alcoa TN, 37701. McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. 865-982-6812.
