She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a retired LPN with several hospitals in the Knoxville area. Preceded in death by: her husband, James Rufus Dixon brothers, George and Benny Hickey . Survivors include: sister, Louise McMahan sister-in-law, Margaret Hickey brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert and Mabel "Bill" Dixon , Oscar and Marie Dixon William and Sue Lowe caregiver and nephew, Bobby Hickey a host of nieces and nephews and many friends. Memorials may be made to charities that support children's benefits. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8pm in the Chapel of Weaver Funeral Home with Rev. Perry Duncan officiating. Family and friends will meet at the Mausoleum in Highland Memorial Gardens Thursday at 11:45am for a 12pm interment service. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8pm.
