WORD, REVA CRAWLEY - age 75, of Maryville, passed away Saturday morning, October 17, 1998, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville. Member of Everett Hills Baptist Church. Preceded in death by first husband, William Jacobs; second husband, Kenneth E. Word; parents, George and Lucreetie Williams Crawley; several brothers and sisters. Survivors: daughter, Glenda Bingham of Alcoa; sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Janet Word, Randy and Pat Word, Roy and Carolyn Jacobs, all of Maryville; son-in-law, T.R. Bingham of Alcoa; grandchildren, Mark Bingham of Alcoa, Matthew Bingham, Danielle Word, Ashley Word, Rebekah Word, Megan Word, Kim Hearon, Lisa Baldwin, all of Maryville; great-grandchildren, Jacob Hearon, Ethan Hearon, Jeremy Baldwin, Derek Bingham, Lenee Bingham; brothers-in-law, Claude W. Lane of Maryville, Tommy Hinch of Hixson, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Lavonda Crawley of Loudon; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7:30 p.m., Monday, October 19, 1998, at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Allen Raines, Rev. Fred C. Cook officiating. Interment 10 a.m., Tuesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, 982-6041.

Janet Marie Word, age 48, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Skyridge Medical Center in Cleveland, TN. She was of the Baptist Faith and preceded in death by parents, Jack and JoAnn Berry; and sister, Trina. Survivors include her husband, Wesley Word; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Jim O’Brien of Maryville; step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Ashley and Chris Burchfield of Maryville; grandchildren, Trina and Julie O’Brien; step-grandchildren, Cain and Eli Burchfield; brother, Jack Berry of North Carolina; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Ronnie Hepperly officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Corinth Cemetery in Loudon County for the graveside service and interment.
