CONNATSER, CARRIE LEE MILLER - age 87, of Friendsville, passed away Saturday morning, December 26, 1998, at the family home. She was the oldest member of Grace Primitive Baptist Church, Lenoir City. Preceded in death by husband, Dewey Mack Connatser; sister, Jessee Miller Mink; brothers, Earl, George, and J.B. Miller. Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Freida and John Stephens, Maryville, Etta Sue and Eldria Hurst, Friendsville, Frances and Joe Cantrell, Louisville, Betty and Clyde Abbott, Maryville, Dorcas and Marion Hood, Friendsville, Brenda and Mark Shultz, Cosby; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Nina Connatser, Atlanta, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, James and Edith Miller, Indiana, Edgar and Mary Jane Miller, Maryville; special friends, Margaret Thompson Hughes and Carla Bedunah, both of Friendsville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8 p.m. Monday, December 28, 1998, Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Elder Bill Taylor, Elder Charles Taylor officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 a.m. Tuesday at Friends Cemetery for the interment. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Primitive Baptist Church, P.O. Box 828, Lenoir City, TN 37771.
