(October 3, 1922 - February 28, 2008) Mamie Sue Hodge, age 85, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Asbury Place of Maryville. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Hodge; parents, Rev. Charles and Carrie Lou Everhart; and brothers, Erskin, Elbert and John J. Everhart. She is survived by her son, James Hodge and wife Mary of Maryville; grandchildren, Tina Breeden and Danny Hodge; 2great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Altoies Gibson of Maryville, Blanche and Andrew Taylor of Alcoa, Betty Lou and Con Click of Maryville, and Shirley Blankenship of Murfeesboro; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Marie Everhart of Maryville, Frank and Audrey Everhart of Union County; sister-in-law, Dorothy Everhart; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Asbury Place of Maryville, 2648 Sevierville Rd. Maryville, TN 37804. Special thanks to the staff of 1 South for the great care, kindness, and compassion. Special thanks to sister and lifelong caregiver, Blanche Taylor. Funeral Service will be held, 8:00 PM Friday, February 29, 2008 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. John Teffeteller and Rev. Harrison Hill officiating. Interment will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Clark’s Grove Cemetery.
