Mamie Sue Hodge, age 85, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Asbury Place of Maryville. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Hodge; parents, Rev. Charles and Carrie Lou Everhart; and brothers, Erskin, Elbert and John J. Everhart. She is survived by her son, James Hodge and wife Mary of Maryville; grandchildren, Tina Breeden and Danny Hodge; 2great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Altoies Gibson of Maryville, Blanche and Andrew Taylor of Alcoa, Betty Lou and Con Click of Maryville, and Shirley Blankenship of Murfeesboro; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Marie Everhart of Maryville, Frank and Audrey Everhart of Union County; sister-in-law, Dorothy Everhart; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Asbury Place of Maryville, 2648 Sevierville Rd. Maryville, TN 37804. Special thanks to the staff of 1 South for the great care, kindness, and compassion. Special thanks to sister and lifelong caregiver, Blanche Taylor. Funeral Service will be held, 8:00 PM Friday, February 29, 2008 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. John Teffeteller and Rev. Harrison Hill officiating. Interment will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Clark’s Grove Cemetery.
