Sutton-Ward engagement
Samantha Kay Sutton, daughter of Rex Sutton and Elizabeth Sutton, both of Maryville, is engaged to marry Brent Travis Ward, son of Bruce and Deborah Ward, of Seymour, at 5:30 p.m. April 30 at Twin Cedar Farm, Rockford. Invitations will be sent.
The future bride is the granddaughter of James and Elizabeth Glazer, of New Richmond, Ohio, Gladys Sutton, of Maryville, and the late Gerald and Doris Walker.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Hugh and Winnie Henry, the late Lewis and Louise Head, and the late Bruce Ward Sr.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Heritage High School and a 2007 graduate of Maryville College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She is employed by the Pendergrass Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine Library at the University of Tennessee and the Blount County Public Library.
The bridegroom-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Heritage High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in 2001 from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Arts degree in mental health counseling from the University of Tennessee in 2003. He is employed by Childhelp Foster Family Agency in Seymour.

Sutton-Ward marriage
Samantha Kay Sutton, of Maryville, daughter of Rex Sutton and Elizabeth Sutton, both of Maryville, was united in marriage with Brent Travis Ward, of Seymour, son of Bruce and Deborah Ward, of Seymour, at 5:30 p.m. April 30 at Twin Cedar Farm, Rockford. The Rev. Chuck Copeland officiated.
Jessica Anderson, of Greenback, was matron of honor, and Sarah Sutton, of Maryville, was maid of honor. Lisa Bell, of Maryville, was bridesmaid.
Emma Anderson was flower girl. Ben Anderson was ring bearer.
Darris Ward, of Seymour, was best man. Groomsmen were Jesse Huskey, of Maryville, Andrew King, of Rockford, and Scott Bell, of Maryville.
A reception was held at Twin Cedar Farm, Rockford.
After a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple are living in Seymour.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Maryville College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She is library supervisor at Pendergrass Agricultural and Veterinary Medicine Library at the University of Tennessee.
The bridegroom received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in 2001 and a Master of Science degree in mental health therapy in 2003 from the University of Tennessee. He is employed by Child Help as a care manager.
