Kidwell, Margot Ellen Peaslee age 72 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Friendsville United Methodist Church, formerly attended Oakview Baptist Church. She built and operated Nawger Nob Inc. of Townsend from 1973 – 1998 and was a superb craftsman with floral arrangements and decorating. She was one the most caring and loving people that you would ever meet. Preceded in death by: Parents, C.J. & Margaret Peaslee; Brothers, Paul, Bob, Joe, and Roy Peaslee; Sisters, Marie & Mary Cathell. Survivors include: Husband of 53 years, Harry H. Kidwell; Son and Daughter-in-law, Joseph & Sharon Kidwell of Townsend; Daughter and Son-in-law, Karolyn & Michael Wood of Maryville; Grandchildren, Matthew & wife Heather Wood of Sevier Co, and Jason & Victoria Kidwell of Townsend; Brother, Ray Peaslee of Rowlesburg, WV; Sister, Betty McIlwee of Rowlesburg, WV; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Friday, March 9, 2007, West Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. Glenn Gamble and Rev. Darryll Rasnake officiating. Entombment will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel.
