ROMINES, GARY WILLIAM - age 52 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at St. Mary's Hospital after a two year battle with leukemia. Gary was retired from Roddy Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Wooddale Free Will Baptist Church and was a devoted husband, daddy and Pappy. He was preceded in death by his father, William Romines, Jr. He is survived by his loving supportive family, mother, Pauline Romines wife of 32 years, Teresa Romines son, Bill Romines and friend, Paula Yoakley sons and daughters in law, John and April Romines, Donnie and Haley Romines sisters and brothers in law, Jane and Ed Emmett, Sherry and Randy Looney grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Ethan, and Kayla and several aunts, uncles. nieces, nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday July 19 at McCarty Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday in the Chapel of McCarty's with Rev. Robert Hobbs officiating. Interment will be Saturday July 20 at 11 a.m. at Boyd's Creek Cemetery in Sevierville, Tenn. Arrangements by McCarty Mortuary, 4004 Holston Dr. Knoxville, Tenn.
