Ammons; parents, Bruce and Emma Hancock; sisters, Myrtle Gray, Dorothy Walker, Nadine (Davis) Borden, Ailene Acuff; brother, Buford Hancock. She is survived by daughter, Geraldine Ammons Thomas; son, Elmer Ammons; two grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister, Fannie Patterson, all of Knox County. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Highland South Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Noon on Monday, March 5, 2007 in Highland South Memorial Park.
