CAUGHRON, J.B. - age 78 of Rockford, passed away Thursday morning, December 14, 2000 at the family home. He was a member of Rockford Baptist Church, retired from Rockford Mfg. Co. and a veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by mother & father, Bruce & Addie Caughron, four brothers & seven sisters, three grandchildren, Tammy Swiney, Missy Kerr & Jimmy Irwin all of Rockford. Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Rosie Braden Caughron; son, Lester Caughron of Rockford; daughters: Helen McGill, Reba Kerr, Haley Irwin, Trula Reagan & Dorcas Lee all of Rockford; sons-in-law: David McGill, Jimmy Irwin, Richard Reagan & Dennis Lee all of Rockford; grandchildren: Lacretia Holbert, Tommy Kerr, Jeff & Tim Caughron, Felisha Coada, Tamkia Moore & Leah Reagan; Four special great grandchildren: Draven & Austin Coada, Jordan Arnold and Richie Reagan; foster children, Charles Roberts, Randy & Wesley Snyder all of Clinton; sister, Bonnie Caughron of Madisonville; sisters-in-law: Annie Caughron of Rockford& Ruby Caughron of North Carolina; special friend, Ronnie Orrick of Rutledge; several nieces & nephews. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2000 at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Lonnie Swiney officiating. Interment to follow at Clark's Grove Cemetery with military honors provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
