GRAYSON, VANESSA ROSE CASBY - age 53, departed this life on Monday, December 8, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Matthew and Odie Casby; step-daughter, Serena Grayson; and sister, Bettye Foster. She is survived by: devoted and loving husband, Ronnie Grayson; son, Marcus Casby and wife, Laquashia; step-son, Darren Grayson and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Marquient and Miyauna Casby; sisters and brothers, James (Patricia) Williams, Patricia (Bobby) Brian: Yulonda (Rickey), and Natalie (James); devoted sister-in-law, Gail Long (Dwight); numerous devoted nieces, nephews, family and friends to include her church family, South Knoxville Church of God. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 5:00pm-7:00pm with services to follow at South Knoxville Church of God. Pastor Robert Branch, officiating. Graveside Saturday at 11:00am at Highland South Memorial Park. Service will conclude with a dove release. Arrangement by Unity Mortuary.
