Tobler, Donald M. “Donnie” – age 71 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2009. He retired from Tobler Air Conditioning Company and was a 1956 graduate of West High School. He was a proud native of the Marble City community and a member of Marble City Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, George A. Tobler III and Toye Watkins Tobler; grandparents, Nell and Brit Watkins and Mr. and Mrs. George A. Tobler, Jr.; a brother, Tommy Tobler and brother-in-law, Albert Lemons. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 53 years, Emma Lou C. Tobler; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Mary Ann Tobler of Clarksville, TN, and Brian and Julia Tobler of Knoxville; sisters, Helene Lemons of Knoxville and Brencie and her husband Bill Johnson of St. Petersburg, Florida; brother-in-law, Gayle and his wife Mildred Caughron of Knoxville; grandchildren, Sam and Melody Young of Clarksville, TN; Taylor, Kyle and Haley Tobler of Winters, California; Megan Garland and Max Garland of Knoxville; and John Tobler of Clarksville; one great-grandson, Avery Jackson Young of Clarksville; nieces and nephews, Brandon Lemons, Tanya Scates and Janel Baker, all of Knoxville; Tim Tobler and Cindy Tobler of Richmond, KY; Vickie Johnson of St. Petersburg, Florida; Kenny Caughron, and Ellen Caughron of Knoxville; and Becky Lane of Jefferson City, TN; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Highland Memorial Funeral, and from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Tuesday with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon in the Highland Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
