PRICE, HAZEL DEAKINS - of Kingston passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Harriman Care and Rehab. She was born October 6, 1914 in Gray, TN. She and her late husband, John established and operated Price Florist in Oak Ridge until they retired and moved to Kingston. Hazel and John were charter members of First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge and became members of First Baptist Church of Kingston after retiring. Hazel was a talented floral designer and a beautiful person. She was preceded in death by her parents J. E. and Mary Deakins; brothers Richard and Raymond Deakins; sisters Mable Jobe, Ann McClanahan, Irene Deakins, and Virginia Brown. Survivors, brother, J.E. and wife, Louise of Gray, TN; special nieces, Loris Sitzlar and Shirley Colyer of Kingston. Funeral 12 Noon Friday, June 12, 2009 in the Kyker Chapel. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in the Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 noon Friday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston. www.kykerfuneralhome.com
