Fred Emil Loepp II, age 62 of Seymour, passed away Friday, April 13, 2007 at St. Mary’s Hospice Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee, after a long and courageous battle with lymphoma and brain cancer. Fred maintained a positive attitude throughout his entire illness.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1944, he grew up in western Pennsylvania, graduating from Conneaut Valley High School in Conneautville, PA in 1962 and continuing his education at Huron College in Huron, South Dakota, graduating with a degree in business and economics in 1967. Fred spent his entire career in manufacturing management jobs in several states: Ohio, Illinois, Tennessee, Michigan, and Texas. He was plant manager at Dominion/Harman Automotive for 14 years.
Fred was a proud member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville and the Rotary Club of Sevierville where he was a Paul Harris Fellow.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Eleanor Loepp, sister Joan Shockovsky, and mother-in-law Georgia Newman.

Daughters: Kelly Loepp and her partner Gabrielle Roberts and their son Gavin, Kristy Loepp and her fiancé Shane Todd
Son: Steven Loepp and his wife Letisicia and their daughters Madison and Marina, all of Knoxville
Sister: Eleanor Kaye of Lancaster, OH
Father-in-law: David Newman
Stepson: Chad Loveday and his wife Dara and their sons Chance and Trace, all of Sevierville
Very special friend: Rick Owens of Shelbyville, Indiana

Funeral service 2 PM Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Middle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
