Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel of Fort Worth with Pastor Bob Brock officiating. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Jewell was preceded in death by her husband Buddy Firestine.
Survivors: Daughters, Bernice McGee and Beverly Ball and husband, John; brother, Winston Burns and wife, Judy; sister, Marjorie Botter and husband, John; grandchildren, Don Caldwell and wife Terry, Steve Caldwell, Scott Caldwell and Allison Caldwell; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty Bernice McGee, 81, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Christ Church Assembly of God, 5301 Altamesa Blvd. in Fort Worth. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Bernice was born Aug. 15, 1927, in Fort Worth. She acted and danced in movies from age 8 until she was 21. She was a lover of Indians and was the author of many articles on the history of the Old West as published by "Old West Magazine" and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Bernice was a member of Christ Church of Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jack McGee, in April 2003.
Survivors: Sister, Beverly Ball and husband, John; nephews, Don Caldwell and wife, Terry, Steve Caldwell and Scott Caldwell; niece, Allison Caldwell; fiance, Ben Yung; great-nephews, Bryan, Ethan, Dylan, Matt and Daniel Caldwell; great-nieces, Cassie and Sarah Caldwell; and great-great-nephew, Jackson Caldwell.
