He was a Lifetime Member, Sunday School Teacher, former Sunday School Superintendent, and Deacon of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Bill was a longtime volunteer with Baptist Hospital Auxiliary. Retired from Robert Shaw Controls. Preceded in death by parents, Jesse Carl Berry and Lula Large Berry; brother, Walter H. Berry Survivors Wife of 66 years: Thelma W. Berry Sister: Janie Berry Elrod Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins Service Funeral 2 PM Tuesday, August 24, 2004 Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Rev. Deron Cobb and Chaplain Dan Hicks officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Nipper, Marshall Saylors, Bob Williams, Mike McPherson, Jim McPherson, John Wm McPherson, Tim McPherson, Don Hall, and David Williams.Honorary Pallbearers will be Volunteers at Baptist Hospital and members of the Senior Adult Men Sunday School Class at Mt.
