Mary Lucretia “Lu” Cardiel Atchley, age 53 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2007. Lu was self-employed as an accountant, construction contractor, and was co-owner of Change of A Dress Boutique in Sevierville. Her hobbies included stained glass, gardening, cooking, and fishing.
Lu was a devoted, loving wife and mother.

Daughters: Cassi Cardiel of Sevierville, Jamie Atchley Silvers and Tresia Atchley Gossage of Seminole, Florida
Mother: Katherine W. Cook of Charleston, South Carolina
Brothers: Glen P. Phillips of Sevierville and David N. Phillips of Summerville, South Carolina
Numerous Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews
Funeral service 2 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Bishop Billy McCool and Rev. Mark McCool officiating. Interment will follow in Alder Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
