He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Sarah Stuart; brothers, Tom, Robert, Homer, Richard, Stanley (Doc) and Earl Stuart; and sister, Carrie Sartain. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Stuart of Newport; children, Linda Morie of Newport, Peggy (Charles) Coulter of Newport, Sherri (Bob) Holt of Newport, and Jeff Stuart of Newport; sisters, Anna Bea (Grady) Nix and Bernice Garner of Newport; grandchildren, Cindy Cates, Bryant Ottinger, Brandon Holt, Jake Stuart; great-grandchildren, Carlie Rae Ford, Kendrick White and Alivia Ottinger; and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Ball and Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Ray’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday prior to funeral service. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
