He was a retired pipe fitter from Lenzing Fibers. He was a former Scout Master of Troop 298, at First United Methodist Church in Newport. He was a former member of the Tennessee Auctioneers Association. He was preceded in death by both parents, Rev. C. H. and Edna Inman, sisters Louise Reed and Margaret Ledford, and brother, Clarence Inman. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Paula, son Edwin(Penny) Inman of Dandridge, daughter Penny (Charles) Webb of Cosby, grandchildren Lucas Webb, Katie and Logan Inman, sister Gladys (Randy) Gregg of Newport, brothers Windy Inman of Morristown, Cecil (Mary Lou) Inman Of OH, Drew (Marti) Inman of NC, sisters-in-law Jo Inman, Norma (James) Mooneyham, Imogene (Darius) Webb, Dean Moore all of Newport, Bobbie Shults of Cosby, brother-in-law Oake(Patsy) Moore of Strawberry Plains. Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Newport Church of Christ, with Minister Tommy Golmon officiating. The family will meet at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Friday March 6, 2009 for a 1:00 p.m. entombment. The family will receive friends from 5:30-8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
