RUSSELL, EDDIE - of Strawberry Plains, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Lost Creek Quaker Church and a retired employee of ASARCO Mining Company. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Russell; sister, Mickey Noe and brother, David Russell. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Russell, Strawberry Plains; son, Brian and wife, Lea Ann Russell of Rogersville; grandchildren, David, Jarred and Abby; mother, Martha Russell, New Market; sisters and husband, Berta Lee and Jerry Lockhart, Jefferson City, Janie and Carl Trammel of New Market; brother, Danny Russell and wife, Mary of New Market. Funeral service 8 p.m. Tuesday April 8, 2008, at Fielden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Goff officiating. Interment 3 p.m. Wednesday in Friend Station Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
