He was a member of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by: parents, Troy and Betty Ruth Whaley Richards. He is survived by: brother, Troy Richards; sisters, Evelyn Criswell, Linda Cooper, Joann Richards and Brenda Johnson, all of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special nephew, Dalton. The family will receive friends from 6pm til 8pm on Monday, January 15, 2007 at McCarty Mortuary. Family and friends will meet at Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery at 10:45 am Tuesday, January 16, 2007 for graveside services at 11:00am. Rev. Gary Criswell will officiate.
