Zelma Ruth Morton, age 86, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at her family home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Morton; son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Martha Morton; parents, John and Rosa Romines; sisters, Doshie Cable, Mary Campbell, and Ebbie Finger; and brother, Edgar Romines. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Viva and Harold Benson of Friendsville, and Brenda and Jackie Lovingood of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Dee Morton of Maryville; grandchildren, Greg and Missy Hunt of Seymour, Melody Parker of Sweetwater, Rodney and Carrie Lovingood of Louisville, Todd Lovingood of Maryville, Jessie and Lee Cutshaw of Maryville, and Shannon and Nathan Reed of Maryville; great-grandchildren, Audra Morton, Chaz Parker, Kaitlyn Evans, Jake Lovingood, Kaylee Lovingood, Brittney Hunt, Bella Reed, Clayton Reed, and Ava Cutshaw; great-great-grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Ella Morton, and Daniel Parker; sister and brother-in-law, Edwina and JR Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Sharon Myers and Karen Brendle. Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Zion Chapel Cemetery, with Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
