(July 20, 1945 - January 13, 2007) Diana Gayle Abbott, age 61, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007, at the family home. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Harvey Rufus and Elizabeth Jean Morrison Nichols, and brother, James Ronald Nichols. She is survived by her son, James and wife Hope Abbott of Maryville; daughter, Saletha and husband Michael Brewer of Maryville; father of her children, Tommie Darrell Abbott of Maryville; grandchildren, Joshua Paul Brewer and Gracie Elizabeth Brewer; expectant grandson, Izaak James Abbott; sisters and brothers, Elizabeth Jean Smith, John William Nichols, Donald Sherrill Nichols; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. The family would like to extend a special thanks and appreciation to her longtime companion, Robert Smith. Family and friends will meet 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum for the graveside service and entombment.
