Victor Rukstales, 70, of Zion died on Sunday, March 9, 1997 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan.
Victor was born May 14, 1926 in Waukegan and lived in this area all of his life.
He attended Waukegan High School and on October 7, 1950 he married Lois Frank in Waukegan.
He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Zion and retired in 1988 from Pfanstiehl Laboratories Inc., Waukegan.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; 4 sons David Rukstales of Zion, Richard Rukstales of Salem, Wisconsin, James (Sandra) Rukstales of Zion and Kenneth Rukstales of Golden, Colorado; 1 daughter Christine (Chuck) Jacquinot of Ft. Collins, Colorado; 6 grandchildren, Andrea, Jessica, Jennifer and Nicholas Rukstales and Amanda and Thomas Cash; 2 step-grandchildren Jody and Julie Jacquinot; 1 great grand daughter, Danika Jacquinot; 2 brothers, Frank Rukstales of Waukegan and Raymond (Adrienne) Rukstales of Arlington Heights, Illinois; one step-sister, Dr. Eugenia Gurskis of Union Lake, Michigan; 2 sister-in-laws Violet Rukstales of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and Mary Rukstales of Zion; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Frank and Velma Rukstales, by his step-mother Josephine, by 2 brothers Tony and John Rukstales and by one step-sister, Ruth Roy.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 1997 at 11:00 a.m. at the Memorial United Methodist Church, 2935 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Dr. Gessel Berry, Jr., officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Friends may call at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion on Tuesday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Memorial donations to either the Memorial United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association have been suggested.
