Mrs. Bonnie Smallwood Roberts 77, 121 Ver Lee Farms Rd., died April 3, 2000 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Roberts was a native of Sevierville, TN, the daughter of the late Mark F. and Dixie Knight Smallwood. She was a homemaker, the wife of the late Lee Mack Roberts . She was preceded in death by her son, Alton Reece Robers, and a brother, Clyde Stinette. Survivors include her sons, Lee Mack Roberts , Jr. of Santa Anna, CA, Larry Marcus Roberts of Belmont, NC; three brothers, R. Ben and Mark (Bugs) Smallwood of Gastonia and Don Stinette of Bessemer City; one sister, Betty Wright of Bessemer City, NC; five grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2000 at 11 AM at the Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Hoover Smith.
