Robert "Bud" Best of Maryville TN age 77, went to his Heavenly Home, Thursday May 1, 2014. He was born February 9, 1937. He was a retiree of Alcoa Aluminum Company and a member of the 25 year club. Bud was a member of Laurel Bank Baptist Church. He is preceeded in death by his son Jeffrey Lee Best, Parents Fermond and Hazel Best, brothers Rayford, Clyde, Alfred Best. He is survived by dear wife of 42 years Barbara Best. Daughters and sons in law, Susan and Ronnie Dunlap, Trena and Bo Conner, Felesa Newsome and Robby Sparks. Grandchildren, Megan, Emily, Kaitlyn, Carmen, Megan, Cara. Seven great-grandchildren. Brothers, Walter and Becky Best, Kenny Best. Sisters Frieda and Chuck Langston, Linda and Wayne McDaniel, Geneva Fuller. Brother in law Tracy Hutson and special friend Kathy Smith, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7:00 PM Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Bailey and Chuck Young officiating. Graveside service and interment will be 2:00 PM Sunday May 4, 2014 at Carpenters Campground UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel. The Family asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to East TN Hemophilia Center 1928 Alcoa Hwy suite B-214 Knoxville TN, 37920.
