Mrs. Vann was born in Auburndale to Isaac Ellis and Sarah Jane Palmore McCarter. She was a lifetime resident of Auburndale and a homemaker. Judy was a member of Lena Vista Baptist Church, where she and her husband also were youth ministers for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Judy will be missed by husband of 51 years Harry Vann of Auburndale, 2 daughters Gail Vann of Auburndale, Sherron Duane Canady of Auburndale, son James B. Julie Vann of Lakeland, 2 brothers Allen Judie McCarter of Auburndale, Charles Ellen McCarter of Auburndale, 8 grandchildren Kristen A.J. , Tylin, Candice, Riley, Tiffany, Megan, Taylor and Julianne, 6 great grandchildren Lane, Alaina, Savannah, Brayden, Dallas and Dawson Funeral services will be held 11 00 AM Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Kersey Funeral Home.
