Elizabeth Taylor Ownby of Richmond, widow of Leo Ownby, died Friday, September 7, 2001. She is survived by her brother, Walter M. Taylor of Knoxville, Tenn.; and her sister, Margaret T. Irwin of Bristol, Tenn. Mrs. Ownby had been a partner in the W. Hugh Ownby Auction Co. for many years. She was a member of River Road Church, Baptist. Remains rest at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where the family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, in the Chapel of River Road Church, Baptist. Interment in Westhampton Memorial Park.
