Bardill, Mildred T. of Maryville died Friday August 6th 2004 at St. Marys.
She was born in Cades Cove. She was a member of Piney Level Baptist Church, and attended Maryville First United Methodist Church. She worked for Parks Belk for many years, and was retired from Avis Rent A Car. She was Past Worthy Matron, Mary Blount Chapter 133.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Glenn M. Denton, parents Sam and Sally Tipton, brothers Arlie, Henry, Cliff, Wiley, and Gerald Tipton, and sister Nancy Wright, all of Maryville.
She is survived by her husband E. Hugh Bardill, daughters Glenda Denton and Rhonda Denton of Maryville, stepdaughters Patricia Hinton of Knoxville, Susan Montgomery of Houston TX. 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Sister, Loetta Williams of Maryville, brother, Rev. Don Tipton of Beech Island SC.
The funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Macht and Rev. Larry Carroll officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the entombment.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Piney Level Baptist Church, 3527 Pinel Level Church Rd., Maryville TN 37801 or Garst Sunday School Class at Maryville First United Methodist Church, 804 Montvale Station Rd. Maryville TN 37803. McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in charge.
