Joseph Fredrick Wilson, 55, of Morristown, died Friday, January 1, at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville.
He was a member of Manley Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and was involved with the prayer group.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Isa B. Wilson; and one brother, Bill Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Wilson of Morristown; sisters, Jean Neas of Newport and Wanda Wilson of Morristown; sister and brother-in-law, Beatrice and L.D. Brooks of White Pine; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at 8 p.m. Saturday, January 2, at Manley Baptist Church in Morristown, with Dr. Richard Emmert and Dr. David Green officiating. The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
Burial was 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Union Cemetery. The family received friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Manes Funeral Home prior to burial.
