WILSON, WANDA FAYE - age 59, of Morristown died Saturday evening at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. She was an active member of Lincoln Ave. Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Cocke County High School, U.T. School of Nursing, Assistant Administrator of the Surgical and Burn Center Vanderbilt University Medical Center, retiring in 1992 after more than 30 years of service. She was Health Nurse for the Cocke County Health Department for approximately four years. She was also with East Tennessee T.B. Center for a period of time. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Isa B. Wilson; and brothers, Bill and Joe Wilson. She is survived by: her sister, Jean Neas of Newport; sister and brother-in-law, Beatrice and L.D. Brooks of White Pine; sisters-in-law, Mary A. Wilson of Morristown and Della Wilson of Newport; nieces, Jan Clevenger of Newport, Sherri Wolfenbarger of Bean Station; nephews, David Brooks of Morristown, W.L. Neas of Newport, Wade Wilson of Newport; and 7 great nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Lincoln Ave. Baptist Church with Dr. David Greene and Roger Gribble officiating, with burial 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 Tuesday evening prior to the funeral at Lincoln Ave. Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lincoln Ave. Building Fund, 234 Lincoln Ave., Newport, TN 37821. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
