MAYNARD, PAUL, JR. (TUG) - age 19, of Bean Station, passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 19, 2003. He was a recent signee of The U.S. Marine Corp. Preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Geneva Wilson, formerly of Newport. Survivors include mother, Sherri Wilson Wolfenbarger and step-father, Joe Wayne Wolfenbarger of Bean Station father, Paul Maynard of Knoxville sister, Casey Jo Wolfenbarger of Bean Station brothers, Lane Wolfenbarger, Jordan and Logan Maynard, all of Knoxville grandmothers, Della Wilson of Newport and Mary Grainger Wolfenbarger of Rutledge several aunts and uncles including Kenny Maynard, David Maynard, Belinda Beller, Joann Larkin, Cathy Ferguson, Barbara Bell, Kent (Shorts) Wolfenbarger and Mike Wolfenbarger. Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2003 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Mike Sledge officiating. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2003 in Grainger Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Steve Finchum, Eric Jarnigan, Kent (Shorts) Wolfenbarger, Lane Wolfenbarger, Curtis Mynatt, Chris Blazedell, Jordan Maynard and Logan Maynard. Honorary Pallbearers are Will Keck and Mark Brisco. Arrangements by Smith Funeral Home in Rutledge.
