SATTERFIELD, JOSEPH ALLEN - age 78 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2001 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith, was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 242 in Orlando, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.A. and Charlotte Satterfield and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: his wife, Dorothy Yearout Satterfield; daughters and sons in law, Shirley and Jim Brady, Pat and Steve Harbin; daughter, Pam (Languedoc) Kemmer; son and daughter in law, Don and Debby Satterfield; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Charles Satterfield; sisters, Lydia Hatcher and Lorraine Davis. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Gamble officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammonds-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
