A native of Pulaski County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Beecher and Pearl Stansberry Finger, and a member of East Kings Mountain Church of God. She was preceeded in death by two sons, William Humphrey and Robert Allender, and one daughter, Dorothy Boone. Survivors include four daughters, Alma Husky, Marion Wood, and Alice McGinnis of Kings Mountain, and Betty Brown of Maryville, TN; brother, John Finger of Miser Station, TN; sister, Elizabeth Payne of Butterfly Gap, TN; twenty-five grandchildren, fifty-five great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.
