WEST, RAYMOND L. - age 76, of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital. Preceded in death by parents, David R. and Lula Stipes West; son, Randy L. West, and brother, David "Robert" West, Jr. Survivors include wife of 49 years, Mary Lee Hall West; sons and daughters-in-law, Ray Jr., Gary, Bryan, Brad and Kim, Larry and Debbie West; grandchildren, Amanda, Chris, Tiffany, Keith, Trevor, Jessica, and Julie West; two great-grandchildren; mother-in- law, Mary Hall, and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mr. West retired after 27 years of service at General Shale Products Corp. Serving as pallbearers: Keith and Chris West, Randall Laws, Eddie and Tim Hall, and Fred Wallace. Family and friends will meet at McCarty Mortuary at 10 a.m. Tuesday at proceed to Shiloh Cemetery for an 11 a.m. interment service, Bro. Timothy Hall officiating. McCarty Mortuary, 4004 Holston Dr., Knoxville, in charge of arrangements.
