“Master” Martin L. Russell, age 50 of Kodak, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010. A 5th degree Tae Kwon Do black belt, he taught martial arts to people of all ages and was known as “Master Russell” to his students. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Virginia Russell.
Survivors include his:

Daughters: Michelle, Betsy Growney and fiancé Patrick Howard, Caroline Murrell and husband Slade, Amber Russell
Sons: Christopher Russell, Daniel Russell
Granddaughter: Caylee Murrell
Sisters: Karen Russell and husband Bob, Terri Russell
Brother: Brian Russell
Nephews and niece: Brandon Russell and wife Sharon, Brent Russell and special friend Lauren Williams, Jared Meaige, Destiny Meaige

Funeral service 11 AM Friday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. David Ayers officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post #104. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
