SIMPSON, ALBERT - was born on December 6, 1916 and departed this life at Asbury Place on Wednesday December 16, 2009. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was retired from ALCOA with over 31 years of service and a member of the 25 year club. Preceded in death by wife, Maggie Simpson; father, Claude Simpson; mother, Mamie Simpson; brothers, Freeman Simpson, Garland "Dean" Simpson, Harrell Simpson; sisters, Iva Mitchell and Katherine Sharp. He leaves to cherish his memory, son Scott (Nicosha) Webb; daughters Angela (Tyris) Gilmore and Setphanie Webb; 10 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to include devoted nephew Robert "Bobby" Sharp who died December 18, 2009. Funeral service will be held Monday December 21, 2009 at 2:00PM at Foothills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stone Carr officiating. Entombment to follow at Sherwood Gardens, Alcoa.The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Friends may call at their convenience Sunday after 2:00PM at 284 W. Watt St. Alcoa.The remains may be viewed from 3-6PM Sunday at Foothills Funeral Home, Maryvillewww.foothillsfuneralhome.com
