ECKMAN, FOREST WAYNE - 82, of Knoxville, passed away on Friday May 5, 2000 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. Born in Indiana, Mr. Eckman has lived in Knoxville for the last 22 years, and is a veteran of WWII. He is a retired musician and is of the Presbyterian faith. Mr. Eckman is preceded in death by one son, Gary Eckman. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Aileen Eckman of Knoxville; son, Michael Eckman and wife, JoAnn of Indianapolis, Ind.; and 4 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday May 7, at Highland South Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday May 8, at 11 a.m. at Highland South Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Philip Nation officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland South Mausoleum. 573-7300.
