GRIZZLE , VIRGINIA MAUDE - age 80 of Knoxville, loving wife and mother, passed away Saturday evening at Hillcrest West Nursing Home. A member of Beech Grove Baptist Church, she is preceded in death by parents, John and Hattie Moore sisters and brothers, Pauline Chambers, Mary Wolfe, Ester Moore, James Moore, Henry Moore, Tom Moore and Foch Moore. Survived by loving husband of 49 years Tilford Grizzle two loving daughters and sons in law, Virginia R. Nipper and Ken of Knoxville, Harriet G. Hartman and John of Knoxville brothers Robert Moore and wife Mabel, and Frank Moore sisters Becky Wilkerson and Ercie Fox special sister and best friend Lydia Moore and Ruth Odum sisters in law Mabel Moore and Lillian brother in law and sister in law Mack and Glena Grizzle special friends the Fred O. Scott family W.G. and Linda Bradshaw, Walter and Melissa Law, Rachael and Martha Law special neighbor Pat Reed, many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Lisa and Jim Skilies. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike. Family and friends will meet at 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday for a 3:00 p.m. graveside service at Highland West Cemetery, 9913 Sherrill Lane, David Matthews officiating.
