Fish, Sr., 69, of Upper Deerfield Township, NJ, died in the emergency room at South Jersey Hospital, Bridgeton, NJ on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012. He had been in failing health for the past year. The husband of Janice Dillon Fish, he was born in Newport, Tenn. and was the son of the late Sollie and Ida McGaha Fish. He had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Township for the past 48 years and prior that he had lived in Tennessee. Prior to his retirement, Frank was a Union Iron Worker and had been employed with Bechtel Power Co. in Lower Alloways Creek, NJ for several years. Besides his wife, survivors include: two sons, Frank W. Fish, Jr. and his wife Kimberly, Lititz, Pa. and Steven M. Fish and his wife Marcella of Florence, NJ; two daughters, Elizabeth Wagner and her husband David, Fairton, NJ and Tammy Fish of Vineland, NJ; two sisters, Bonnie (Curtis) Whittle, Cosby and Agnes Messer of North Carolina; three brothers, LeRoy Fish (Eunieve), Cosby, Gene Fish (Shirley), Cosby and Joe Fish (Toni) of Cosby, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: four sisters, Bernice Sprouse, Ruby Whittle, Reva Sheppard and Fairy Smith and two brothers, Roy Fish and Jack Fish. Funeral services were held at the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, NJ on Tuesday, Sept. 4. Burial took place at Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Township, NJ.
